Your coach

Dan Beall. V15 boulderer. Coaching since 2010.

It's easy to think about putting your feet where the holds are, rather than putting your feet where your body position sort of needs to be.

Sound familiar?

Same move. Same fall. Every session.

"I fall at the same spot every time, and I can't tell why."You pull back on, try it harder, and fall again.

"I film every go. Nobody ever watches them."Your phone is full of clips. None of them came with an answer.

"Everyone at the wall gives me different beta."Ten tips, and half of them are for someone taller.

"A coach can't be at the gym every time I climb."Good coaching eyes are rare, and feedback takes days.

Dan Beta gives every clip a pro's eye, any time, and gives you one change to try on your next go. Not ten.

How it works

Clip in. The one change out.

These are real screens from the app, on a real clip.

  1. Film a problem you fall on

Side-on, feet in frame. Or choose a clip you already have. The app finds the part that matters and asks before anything leaves your phone.

The Your clip screen: a climber on a corner problem, the consent sentence, and the button Agree and review my clip.
  2. Dan's AI coach reviews it

In a minute or two, your clip plays back. It freezes, slows down and zooms in while an AI voice of Dan talks you through it. Then you get the one change, and a drill for it.

The review: the clip at the top with the label AI voice of Dan, a drill, and the one change, Feet under your plumb line. A sheet asks for your height, once.
  3. Try it on your next go

The one change waits on your home screen until you try it. Film your next try, and tell Dan if you sent it.

The Reviews screen: the one change from today, Feet under your plumb line, and the button Film your next try.

What a review shows you

Your body. Your clip. Your reach.

01Marks on your own clip

Not a stock video of someone else. Dan's lines are drawn on you: where your hips are, where your plumb line drops, where your foot should go.

02One change, not ten

Dan's coaching finds the one thing that unlocks the move, and gives you a drill for it. You leave with a thing to try, not a list to remember.

03It learns your reach

Dan's beta changes with your height. The app asks once, only when it matters on the move.

04It remembers what keeps coming up

"What Dan knows about you" shows the patterns from your reviews. Tap anything that is wrong and it goes.

From a real AI review · 26 Sep 2026

1

"So watch this section. Left hand's on that low hold, right hand's up high, and you kind of hang here for a good few seconds."

2

"Here your plumb line drops way between your feet, closer to the left one. So the right foot is just resting there, not really loaded."

5

"Now the plumb line sits right over your right foot. You're standing on it instead of pulling. That's the position you wanna find straight away."

6

"And with your plus ape index, you don't need to stand fully tall. Hips over the foot, and the reach to the top is just there."

The one change

Hips over the high foot.
